The Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for your help identifying a suspected poacher.   Investigators say the suspect was hunting in Yamhill County's Trask Wildlife Management Unit from October 18th-20th and again from October 25th-27th.  The male suspect is believed to be associated with an older maroon sedan, possibly a Honda, with a black damaged front fender.

OSP said the suspect shot numerous doe deer with a high-powered rifle from the roadway on private property.  And on one occasion, the suspect shot a doe from a residential front yard before fleeing the area.  Investigators add the suspect returned after dark and recovered the deer carcass, ignoring posted “No Trespass” signs.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact OSP dispatch at 800-452-7888, *OSP (*677) on a mobile device, or by E-mail. Please reference case number # SP24349341.
