Oil Prices Hold While Diesel Prices Move Higher
A little bit of certainty encouraging oil investors to start the workweek. Monday’s trade saw West Texas Crude above $40 per barrel for the first time since mid-October. Investors are reportedly feeling a little better now knowing who will most likely occupy the White House over the next four years. And Pfizer’s announcement of successes with their COVID-19 vaccination has many across the economy encouraged.
National diesel prices were unchanged this week, holding at $2.36 a gallon. Washington’s price increased three cents this week to $2.73, Oregon’s price increased one cent to $2.59, while Idaho saw their diesel prices jump by ten cents to $2.45 per gallon.
Here are some of the lowest diesel prices we could find across the Northwest:
- $2.43 a gallon in the Tri-Cites
- $2.35 a gallon in Wenatchee
- $2.49 a gallon in Pullman
- $2.27 a gallon in Lewiston
- $2.38 a gallon in Moses Lake
- $2.38 a gallon in Pendleton
- $2.39 a gallon in Yakima
- $2.39 a gallon in Quincy
- $2.69 a gallon in Omak
