The latest numbers from the USDA’s National Agriculture Statistics Service shows that potato production in Washington dropped about six percent and the number of cattle on feed rose 10 percent versus last year.

 

Oregon potato production also dropped about once percent when compared to last year.

 

Breeding Hog inventory in the Beaver State was down about 50 percent with most categories of hog inventory by size down as well.

 

Milk production Oregon stayed on par for November of 2017 versus 2016, but Washington’s production was down about 4 million pounds.
