According to NASS, all wheat stocks stored in the Northwest dropped 23% from March 1st 2017 to this year.  In Washington, stored wheat fell 21.1 million bushels, Oregon’s storage dropped27.7 million bushels, while Idaho reported a drop of 39.0 million bushels.  Nationally, wheat stored in all positions decreased 1.66 billion bushels over the past year.

 

As far as barley stocks are concerned, those figures dropped 4.23 million bushels in Washington, and down 34.9 million bushels in Idaho, while stored barley in Oregon increased 33,000 bushels from a year ago.
