McMorris-Rodgers Honored By 4-H

As a child, Cathy McMorris-Rodgers raised 4-h animals in Kettle Falls and would show them at the local fair.

Tuesday evening, 4-H honored Eastern Washington representative Cathy McMorris-Rodgers.  McMorris-Rodgers was given the Distinguished Alumni Medallion Award during the organization’s 10th anniversary Legacy Award Gala.  She also joined fellow Distinguished 4-H Alumni Medallion winners Bob Baffert and Ericka Flanigan, discussing how 4-H shaped their lives.

 

McMorris Rodgers grew up in Kettle Falls, where she sold 4-H animals at the local fair which eventually allowed her to become the first in her family to graduate college.  McMorris-Rodgers is serving her 8th term as eastern Washington's congressional representative.
