Taking a look at the latest USDA forecast sheet for milk supply and demand, there are some positives that stand out for 2019, according to Outlook Chairman Seth Meyer.
"The all milk price is up year-over-year going from 16-80 to 17-20. All the product prices are offering some support."
However, producers could see rising costs that offset those gains.
"The feed prices are rising as well. And that eats away any benefit that you're getting from the increase in the all milk price. So, margins unchanged from where we were at last month"
