Idaho Wheat Commission Launches Webinar Series

The Idaho Wheat Commission recently launched a monthly webinar focused on industry questions specific to the Pacific Northwest. Casey Chumrau, Executive Director of the Wheat Commission says growers can participate in these webinar live and have their questions addressed.

“Weed control, we had a China lettuce topic, we did some grain marketing. We also covered non-tariff trade barriers, so, things we can do on the farm that helps us market our wheat overseas.  And we talked a little bit about glyphosate and buckwheat and some of those topics.”

She noted those that cannot participate in the live webinar can watch it at a later time on the Idaho Wheat Commission’s YouTube channel. Or the webinars are in podcast form as well, which Chumrau pointed out is perfect for listening while driving the combine, truck or anything else associated with harvest.
