The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office said Lower Waitsburg Road closed Wednesday afternoon after a grain elevator breached, sending tons of grain onto the roadway.  Investigators said the grain was between three and eight feet deep across the roadway.

One picture shows a vehicle stuck in the grain.  Thankfully no injuries were reported.  The roadway was reopened Friday.
