In-Person Wine Celebration Set For Mid-July
The Northwest wine community is preparing for a big, in-person event in Walla Walla this summer. The Walla Walla Valley Wine’s signature event Celebrate is slated for mid-July, and this year the organization will showcase the 2nd most prominent grape in the region – Syrah. Walla Walla Valley Wine's Shelby Pryor says they are especially excited for the 2022 event, after years of delays.
"It was originally slated to be held in 2020. So we've been planning and looking forward to this. It will be an exciting time to really delve into Syrah grow across the Walla Walla Valley.”
This year’s itinerary includes a presentation on Syrah, several tasting sessions, a discussion about Syrah by a panel of international experts and a winemaker dinner series. And Pryor noted guests will also be encouraged to explore the Walla Walla Valley.
"Attendees can go out and experience wineries in their tasting rooms, and also get to know the wine makers, and just make a deeper connection with the people who are in the wine community here.”
This year’s Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine will take place 14th-16th. Ticket are available now On-Line.
