Fuel prices over the past week showed very little change.  Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy.com said oil prices held steady this week, and any slight movement came not from international pressures, but the transition to summer blends of fuel.

“Oil prices were little changed versus a week ago, holding just above the $55 per barrel mark as wholesale gas prices edge higher on refinery maintenance and the continued transition to cleaner more expensive gasoline now underway in all states.”

The national price for a gallon of diesel increased this week to $3.00, Washington’s average increased one cent to $3.19, with Oregon’s rate also increasing one penny, to $3.08 a gallon.

As far as the lowest local prices are concerned:

  • $2.69 a gallon in Pasco
  • $2.99 gallon in Wenatchee
  • $3.21 a gallon in Ephrata
  • $2.99 a gallon in Quincy
  • $2.97 a gallon in Pendleton
  • $2.99 a gallon in Yakima
  • $3.09 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $3.07 a gallon in Walla Walla
