A former WAFLA employee his filed a suit against the organization as well as the executive director.  Dawn Dobbins, who held a variety of positions for Lacey-based WAFLA filed the suit in June in Thurston County Superior Court.  According to the Yakima Herald, the suit claims Dan Fazio make several sexual remarks and gestures towards her an other women.  The suit also claims Fazio made disparaging and racist remarks toward Mexicans and other ethnic groups.  A November 2018 trial date in U.S. District Court in Tacoma was scheduled this week.

 

The Washington Ag Network reached out to WAFLA for comments, but did not hear from organization officials.
