The U.S. Meat Export Federation has unveiled the lineup of keynote speakers at the 22nd World Meat Congress this year in Dallas.  USMEF’s Philip Seng said they will start things off with Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue.

"We’re very pleased to have Secretary Perdue talk about how we’re going to feed the world in 2050.  So of the challenges as climate, in addition to that in addition to some of the initiative on trade policy that we’re seeing from the administration.  It should make for a very popular opening session.”

From there, the crowd will hear from his Argentinean counterpart.  Seng said that speech should be interesting with Argentina opening its market to imports, which he says improved the South American country’s overall economy.  Other featured speakers include Long Wan, executive director, chairman and chief executive officer of WH Group.  Also addressing the Congress will be best-selling author Jeff Fromm.

“Jeff is the President of FutureCast, he is also a contributing writer to the Forbes magazine.  He’s written books, in the area of millennials and Generation Z, so, if you’re interested in marketing, if you’re interested in tomorrows’ consumer you need to be in Dallas Texas.”
