The National Farm to School Network has released their annual look at the benefits of farm to school programs citing researchers, surveys, data-driven analysis and much more.

 

The benefits include increased economic activity, for every dollar invested in farm to school $2.16 is returned. It also offers enhanced academic achievement with improved grades, test scores and activity. The study also showed improved nutrition habits and reduce food waste.
