Far West Awards $10,000 in Scholarships to High School Seniors

The Far West Agribusiness Association has awarded $10,000 in scholarships to 17 students throughout the Northwest and Nevada.

Of the 17 students, two are from Washington, three from Oregon and 10 are from Idaho. Seven are college students.

The awards were decided based on GPA, resume, letters of recommendation and an essay topic that focused on how agriculture should advocate for the industry.
