The latest drought numbers are a little encouraging for the Northwest.  For the first time in several weeks, the drought severity did not change for Oregon, Idaho or Washington.

In Washington, 93% of the state is under a D-1 or Moderate Drought, while over half of the state is under a D-2, or Severe Drought designation.

In Oregon, while the entire state is abnormally dry for this time of year, the D-1 and D-2 designations are much smaller than Washington.
