Demand, Syria Pushes Oil Prices Higher
Diesel prices have inches higher over the past couple of weeks, thanks to increased demand as well as last week’s missile drops on Syria. Oil prices have increased roughly $5 per barrel over the past several weeks. That has translated into higher gasoline prices, and slightly elevated diesel prices.
According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of diesel increase one cent in the past week to $2.51, the Washington average for diesel also increased a penny to $2.86 a gallon, while Oregon’s rate held steady at $2.66. Gasoline prices meanwhile have increased to the highest levels reported in nearly two years.
Here are some of the lowest diesel prices we could find across the Inland Northwest:
- $2.65 a gallon in Pasco
- $2.68 a gallon in Wenatchee
- $2.69 a gallon in Quincy
- $2.56 a gallon in in Pendleton
- $2.69 a gallon in Yakima
- $2.65 a gallon in Moses Lake
- $2.77 a gallon in Walla Walla
