Dairy MPP Payment Rate Announced for May and June

USDA’s Farm Service Agency announced the margin for dairy producers who are part of the Margin Protection Program is $5.762777 per hundredweight.

MPP payments occur when milk price and feed costs fall below a selected price.

Dairy producers will receive a payment if the selected margin was elected at $6.00 through $8.00.
