On Tuesday, Royal City-based Cascade Organic Flour donated 21 tons of whole wheat flour to 2nd Harvest to help those in need across eastern Washington. 2nd Harvest said they plan to quickly distribute the flour to various food banks across the region to help those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Cascade Organic Flour is pleased to be able to donate this truckload of our flour to 2nd Harvest.” said Justin Brown, Cascade Organic Flour’s Owner and CEO.  “We know that it is very much needed right now and we wanted to do something to respond rapidly to help those in need.”
