Cascade Organic Donates 30+ Tons Of Flour To 2nd Harvest
In an effort to address hunger across the Inland Northwest, Royal City-WA based Cascade Organic Flour recently donated two truckloads of Whole Wheat Flour. The five-pound bags were donated to 2nd Harvest in Spokane to help those in need across the state. 2nd Harvest said they plan to quickly distribute the approximately 37 tons or nearly 15,000 bags to various food banks across eastern Washington.
“Cascade Organic Flour is pleased to donate nearly fifteen thousand (15,000) 5 lb. bags our Organic Whole Wheat Flour to 2nd Harvest, as we know that it is very much needed, and we wanted to do something proactive during this Easter Season to help those in need," said Justin Brown, Cascade Organic Flour’s Owner and CEO.
