BLM 2Q Timber Sales Near $11Million

The Bureau of Land Management brought in more than $10.7 million from timber sales during the second quarter of 2026.  The agency sold about 41 million board feet of timber across 1,500 acres in Oregon and California—enough lumber to build nearly 2,600 homes.

BLM officials said the sales support logging, milling and construction jobs while boosting the domestic timber supply. Newly confirmed BLM Director Steve Pearce recently toured western Oregon, meeting with employees and timber industry representatives.

“This was such an important trip for me to take,” Pearce said. “It was great to see Americans doing real work on the ground. These folks are part of a crucial industry that is helping rebuild the economy from the ground up.” 

The agency plans six more timber sales this month, offering another 31 million board feet of timber across nearly 835 acres.
