Big Bend Community College is reminding students across Central Washington of the Ag opportunities for those interested in perusing an education beyond high school.  Landra Kosa runs the Ag program at BBCC, and said over the past couple of years, they’ve tried to expand and grow the department to meet the needs of the students and industry.  She said one of the most popular degrees currently is one for students perusing a four-year degree.  It’s an AAS-T, which Kosa said allows students to seamlessly transfer to WSU with all of the credits they’ve already earned.

“And what that is, it’s aligned with Washington State University to meet their requirements and allow students to transfer in as a junior.”

Kosa said their programs in Field Crop Management, Ag and Food Business and Economic and Ag Technology have gained in popularity during the transition.  Kosa was recently highlighted during our Where Are We Wednesday segment on Facebook.
