When it comes to harvest numbers for both spring wheat and barley, nationwide, both crops are 94% harvested, according to the USDA.  Those figures are very close to the five-year average or this time of year; 94% for spring wheat, and 96% harvested at this point for barley.  However, those figures are behind last year drought affected crop where harvest was already completed with two weeks remaining in September 2021.
