The 4th annual Ag World Golf Classic will take place at Canyon Lake Country Club in Kennewick Wednesday June 14th.  This 18-hole scramble allows the ag community to come together to enjoy a quick round of golf, all while helping the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest.  Warren Henninger, Founder and Chairman of Ag World Support Systems says while the golf is played in the Tri Cities, it’s truly a regional event.

“They come all the way from Quincy, WA, to Boardman, OR.  And a lot of these farmers have hired people working on their farms, and many can give me stories about people who have used the house in Spokane.”

Last year, the Ag World Golf Classic raised roughly $64,000; Warren says this year’s goal is closer to $77,000.  To register your team, visit AgWorldGolfClassic.com.

And during this year’s tournament potato growers you can enter a drawing to receive several free compounds used in growing and storing potatoes.  Valued from $1000 to $2500 each.

The Washington Ag Network is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s golf tournament.
