Potato growers from across the Columbia Basin will file into Adams County today.  Potato experts from Washington State University will share their latest research on disease defense during the annual Potato Field Day in Othello.  New varieties and growing techniques will be on display as well.

 

Those in attendance will also meet Andrê Wright the new dean of WSU’s College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences.  This annual Field day is a partnership between WSU and the Washington State Potato Commission.  Today’s Field Day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Othello Research Unit on West Cox Road.
