Could rabies be eradicated by 2030? Researchers at WSU’s Paul Allen School of Global Animal Health are trying to make that a reality.

WSU President Kirk Schulz said, “We’ve got big ideas and we’ve got these folks there that are making a huge positive difference around the world. You need some audacious goal and so we look at the Pacific Northwest, we look regionally, nationally and internationally.”

Schulz said that’s one of the best parts of WSU, their work for a betterment of all.

“Everybody who does research and scholarship, you want it to have an impact. Something like this, around our public health space will have a lasting impact not just today but well into the future.”
