Washington State University is hosting their second Agriculture Technology Day on Monday July 31st at the Prosser campus.

Dr. Lav Khot said they want to focus primarily on unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, and also precision irrigation with two-hour sessions.

“We also have some advancements in what is called robotic apple harvesting, and also in bin management systems. So we won’t talk all about that, but demo these in small five-minute demos or displays.”

Continuing education credits will also be available.

Khot said this Ag Tech Day is something they do every other year.

“We’re trying to streamline this so this time we have a focus, but there will also be all the technologies displayed and demoed and the participants can then go and visit the individual demos and displays as per their interest.”

Registration is required to attend the event.
