Much of the time and effort at the World Dairy Expo which wrapped up at the start of this month focused on the latest technology in the dairy industry.  Kristin Olson with WDE told the Washington Ag Network many in the industry are looking toward cutting edge technology to give dairy producers an advantage.

“We had a few of our farm tours, our virtual farm tours and expo seminars highlight robotics.  And that was highlighted all throughout the trade show in different areas.  And people are also utilizing technology to portray what their products have to offer through virtual reality.”

Olson added they had over 2,500 head of cattle at this year’s Expo.
