Washington Strawberry Commission To Close Down

At the end of this month, the Washington Strawberry Commission will shut its doors permanently.  The Commission has been silent for about a year, after the board asked that the Commission be disbanded.

According to the Washington State Department of Agriculture, June 30^th will be the commission’s final day.  The Strawberry Commission has reportedly struggled to fill commission positions over recent years.
