WAEF Apple Art Contest Begins With Some Changes
The annual Apple Art contest by the Washington Apple Education Foundation is now open with the grand prize $1,000 up for grabs.
The contest is open for students in Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan, Grant, Benton, Franklin, Kittitas, Yakima and Walla Walla counties.
The second place winner will get $500, and the third place winner $250. WAEF is adding prizes of Amazon gift cards or art supplies to each student’s art class or art department.
The deadline has also moved up to May 1st so that the winner can be declared and honored while still in school.
