Interested in traveling to Brazil to find out more about trade possibilities in the nation? The deadline to apply for the USDA trip is Wednesday, July 12th.

USDA Trade Programs Deputy Administrator Mark Slupek said they’ll be down in Brazil the week of September 25th through the 29th.

“We’ve never taken an agribusiness trade mission to Brazil and we think it’s a great opportunity for U.S. businesses to come down and learn about the market.”

There will be business to business meetings in Sao Paulo and Recife.

There are more than 200 million people in Brazil and Slupek said they present good market potential.

“Brazil, even though it’s a large agricultural producer itself, is still the 22nd largest market for U.S. ag and ag-related exports.”

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, July 12th.
