The USDA is accepting application for the Department's first ever regional agricultural trade mission to the Netherlands, April 17th-20th.

“In 2021 U.S. agriculture, fishery, and forestry products exported to the Netherlands totaled $3.4 billion, which made it the United States 10th largest export market," noted Ryan Brewster with the Foreign Agricultural Service.  He added the trade mission is not just about the people of Holland.

“The port of Rotterdam is there.  That really is one of the gateways into the rest of Europe, so we see a lot of opportunity for importers who are located in the Netherlands to take U.S. products and distribute them across Europe.  So, we're really excited about that.  And there's several products that we're actually looking to try to promote.”
