USCIS Institutes Online Approval System for H-2A Visas
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services launched an online approval system for H-2A visas yesterday.
The new electronic process will allow USCIS to send H-2A approvals to the Department of State by the end of the next business day.
The process is designed to reduce delays for employers, reduce paperwork and provide greater efficiency and consistency.
President of the American Farm Bureau Federation Zippy Duvall praised the move calling it, “An important step to bring the H-2A processing system into the 21st century.”
There is no additional charge for the e-Approval process.
