
USApple Fruit In Storage Higher From 2024
According to the latest numbers from USApple, the total number of apples in storage on February 1st was 130 million bushels, 5% less than last February 2024’s total of 137 million bushels. This month’s number is also 11% higher than the five-year average.
Fresh apple holdings to start this month totaled 93 million bushels, a 5% dip from last year. Processing holdings totaled 38 million bushels, again, a 5% decrease from February 1st, 2024. USApple said their report captures more than 95% of the national storage capacity.
