The Pacific Northwest is playing host to three South Korean flour mill executives this week.

The three will take tours of the area for a better and deeper look at crop production and quality of soft white, hard red spring and hard red winter wheat fields as well as meet with WSU wheat breeders.

U.S. Wheat’s Chang Yoon Kang said, “Each of these managers have a key role in making decisions about wheat origin, class, purchase contract specifications and wheat procurement policies. It is vital that they receive timely and reliable information on the crop situation.”

The tour will pass through Washington, Oregon and Montana.

The trip wraps on August 14th.
