This Friday, August 25th, WSU and the Washington State Tree Fruit Research Commission are offering a rootstock tour at three different locations.

 

It begins at 9:45 a.m. in Oroville off Loomis Oroville Rd where the topics will be crop load, tree vigor and bitter pit of third-leaf Honeycrisp apples.

 

The next stop is in Brewster at 1:00 where Pazazz on Bud 9 will be in the spotlight for vigor, bitter pit and fruit size.

 

The all-day event will conclude in East Wenatchee at McDougall and Sons where they will discuss management of Honeycrisp in new plantings.
