In addition to traditional safety concerns, this year's Progressive Agriculture Foundation's  Annual safety day events will focus the future of the Ag industry.

"One of the new topics that we're tackling here is on mental well being and stress among our children," said PFA's Jana Davidson. He added they will look not only at the variety of stressers impacting the farm in recent years, but the short-term and long-term impact on children.

"We know that the children are feeling stress right along with parents. We know that they're seeing a lot of the whispers going on at home and they know something's wrong. So we put together a round table in September. We brought mental health providers working with rural populations around the table, and started the foundation for a new cirriculum that's goona address this problem."
