Potato stocks are up 224,000 pounds in Washington and even in Oregon in 2017 when compared to 2016 according to a USDA report.

 

Production in Idaho, Oregon and Washington increased nearly 1.7 million pounds as well.

 

Washington and Idaho accounted for more than 60 percent of the production of the potatoes in the U.S. in 2016.

 

Nationwide, production was up in Minnesota, Montana, and Wisconsin, but dropped in Maine, Michigan, Nebraska, and North Dakota.
