
Pendleton Cattle Barons Hands Out $12K In Scholarships
Pendleton Cattle Barons Weekend closed out the 2018 fundraising year with their big scholarship evening on May 11th and 12th. The Barons handed out $12,000 in scholarships for young adults across Umatilla and Morrow counties. In addition Sharon Livingston and The Livingston Ranch was presented with the Cattle Barons Legacy Award for their efforts in supporting and preserving cattle ranching in Eastern Oregon.
Scholarships of $1,500 each were awarded to:
- Kolby Currin – Heppner
- Chris Weinke - Pilot Rock
- Bradey Cope – Pendleton
- Kaleigh Waggoner – Pilot Rock
- Morgan Orem – Ione
- Elizabeth Ausman – LaGrande
- Sadie Wilson – Helix
- In additionally, Sadie Wilson received the $1,500 scholarship from Cattle Barons Title Sponsor, Protect the Harvest and Lucas Oil.
