USDA’s August Production forecast shows that the 2025 peach crop is expected to be smaller than what we saw last year.  NASS’ Anthony Prillaman notes while decreases to California were fairly slight, dips in other states such as Georgia and South Carolina pulled national numbers lower.

“Peach production is forecast to be down 3.8% from last year," he said.

No Northwest production numbers were made available.

When  it comes to grape numbers.

“Production is estimated at 5.59 million tons," Prillaman said.  "That is up 3.4% from 2024.”

California, the nation's largest grape growing state reported a significant rise in wine grape production, lower raisin grape production, and no change in the number of table grapes produced from last year.

In Washington, juice grape production increased from over 151,000 tons last season to 160,000 tons this year, while wine grape production decreased from 151,000 tons down to 120,000 tons.  Oregon grape production increased year-over-year from 84,800 tons in 2024 to 110,000 tons this year.
