The month of June means field days across Oregon.

It starts this Friday, the 5th, at the Organic Winter Grains Field Day, taking place at Oregon State University’s Lewis-Brown Hort Farm in Corvallis.  Growers will have an opportunity to learn about the latest research on:

  • Naked barley, wheat, cereal rye, and triticale
  • Fava bean variety trial
  • Disease and weed management in organic systems, end-use quality, and transitioning to organic

Then next week, Northeast Oregon takes center stage, with the Hermiston Field Day Monday June 8th, with a focus on cereal crop production, including field trials and current research.
