The Oregon FFA Foundation recently received a $500,000 donation from Northwest Farm Credit Services for the establishment of an “Oregon FFA Today and Tomorrow” endowment. NWFCS-Oregon President, Brent Fetsch, said unlike other states, the Oregon FFA relies primarily on private contributions, which can create challenges.

"The reason we made this contribution is to ensure the program continues to grow and thrive. In our view, the return on our investment, in the long run, they'll be the talent that is the next generation leading agriculture in our rural communities.”

Fetsch said FFA is a vital part of the Oregon fabric for generations, and the goal of the endowment is to have others contribute.

"FFA has proven itself for many, many years as a great way to help young people get started. I'd like to see our $500,000 gift grow to $1 million for the Oregon FFA Today and Tomorrow endowment.”

The Oregon FFA Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
