Okanogan and Pasco Shoreline Plans
The Washington State Department of Ecology is seeking public comment on shoreline plans in Pasco and in Okanogan County.
In Okanogan County, the plan will replace the shoreline master plan and is designed to help minimize environmental damage to shoreline areas, reserve appropriate areas for water-oriented uses and protect people’s access to public land and waters.
The City of Pasco has been using the Franklin County master plan and will use this update to focus on regulating development along the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
You can comment on either plan at the Department of Ecology’s website.
