
ODFW Confirms Wolf Depredation in Jackson County
On Friday, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed a depredation on private land in Jackson County. Investigators said when they responded to the Rancheria area, they found one dead nine-month-old calf. ODFW added it appears that the OR 167 wolves are responsible for this depredation.
This marks the 7th livestock death out of five confirmed depredations across Oregon over a week’s time.
