According to the latest numbers from the USDA, most producers saw a modest increase in prices received for their commodities in the month of October. As Rod Bain points out, much of that was fueled by an increase in what livestock producers were paid.




Bain added much of the increase can be attributed to higher prices for feeds, feeder pigs and concentrates.
