As the U.S. continues to renegotiate NAFTA, and looks at putting KORUS under the microscope, Representative Dan Newhouse says it’s vital that the most important voice is heard.

Yours.

The Central Washington Republican told the Washington Ag Network  he needs the help of local growers to get the message to D.C. just how important trade is for the hundreds of commodities grown in the state.

“I want to be certain our administration understands the significance and the benefits that we as a state as well as a nation have been able to realize because of these trade agreements.”

Newhouse added it’s important federal leaders don’t forget what Canada, Mexico and South Korea mean to growers and producers.

“We need to maintain strong trading ties with these partners because of the tremendous economic impact that has on our agricultural industry.”
