New Version of I-9 Must Now be Used

The Washington State Dairy Federation is reminding farmers and other ag business owners that they must now use a new I-9 form from the IRS when hiring new employees.

The new form has minor changes to language and has shifted some of the required information around.

The WSDF says, “Given the increased attention on I-9s and enforcement of immigration-related laws in recent years, employers should be particularly careful when filling out, handling, and storing I-9s.”
