National, Local Diesel Prices Tick Up
Oil prices continue to march higher. The price for a barrel of oil has increased $6 in recent weeks, pushing the prices for a gallon of diesel higher. According to AAA, the National diesel price increased two cents in the past week to $2.53 a gallon, Washington’s average increased two cents a gallon as well, to $2.88, Oregon’s up two cents this week as well to $2.68.
Here are some of the lowest prices we could find for a gallon of diesel:
- $2.65 a gallon in the Tri Cities
- $2.68 a gallon in Wenatchee
- $2.69 a gallon in Yakima
- $2.69 a gallon in Quincy
- $2.56 a gallon in Pendleton
- $2.79 a gallon in Walla Walla
- $2.65 a gallon in Moses Lake
Gasoline prices have moved up as well during the same time frame, hitting the highest level reported nationally since September 2015.
