The Northwest continues to dry out, and some places are already starting to dry out a little too much.  According to the USDA, roughly 13% of Washington is under a D1 Moderate drought.  The dry conditions stretch from north of Ellensburg to the Canadian board.  Meanwhile the percentage of Washington that is Abnormally Dry for this time of year, held steady at 73%.

The only portion of Washington not dry is lower Yakima Valley and southeast corner of the state.

In Oregon, the numbers held steady week over week with over 82% considered abnormally dry, and roughly 40% of the state under a Moderate Drought.
