Meal Mart Chicken Tender Recall

USDA’s Food Safety Inspection and Service announced a recall today of chicken tenders handled by Schreiber Processing Corporation.

The company is recalling more than 2,300 pounds of chicken in 10-pound boxes labled, “Meal Mart BATTERED & BREADED CHICKEN BREAST TENDERS” bearing item code 03-CTB and production code 0246.

The chicken tenders may be contaminated with plastic and misbranded.

The products were shipped to Washington, but there have been no reports of any injury or sickness due to the food.
