Jas Krdzalic has been named Vice President, Business Optimization & Continuous Improvement of Simplot’s AgriBusiness Group.  In this role, Krdzalic will report directly to Simplot AgriBusiness President G. Rey Reinhardt and serve as a member of the Simplot AgriBusiness Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Simplot, Krdzalic served as General Manager, Digital Marketplace at Albertsons Companies, where he was integral to launching a new digital commerce platform along with leading the development of their market strategy roadmap development.  In a previous role, he served as CEO of Bodybuilding.com and Vitalize LLC, a digital fitness platform and e-commerce business, where he led the C-level executive team for the company.

A native of Bosnia, Krdzalic spent the latter years of his childhood in Idaho and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Finance from the University of Idaho as well as a Master of Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University.  He also served on the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Salt Lake City Branch where he provided industry insights to the Central Bank leadership that helped influence monetary policy and impact the U.S. national economy.

 

Krdzalic will join the Simplot on February 24th.
